First off, I don't like to use the term "weight loss" because what is lost is meant to be found, right? I call it "disassociating with negative influences". If you really want to be healthy and if you have struggled with your present weight, it is important that you start it off right. For the first few weeks, eliminate all high starch foods from you diet. Foods such as sugar, potatoes, rice, pasta, corn, carrots and bread all turn into sugar which will turn into fat, eventually. Fill your meals with healthy veggies and lean meats. For snacks eat ricotta cheese or cottage cheese, nuts, cheese and veggies with ranch dip. Keep these foods on hand at all times. Eat eggs any way you choose. Eat ample servings of lean meats such as steak, chicken, fish and other lean meats. Try different kinds of seasonings and stir fry dishes. Be sure to eat 3 meals each day with at least 2 snacks in between. Drink at least 64 ounces of water. I add Oxyfresh liquid thermogenics to all my water, which speeds up my metabolism. You can get that here liquid thermogenic This has been a staple in my healthy weight plan. A sample days meals for me would be:
Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with cheese and 2 slices of turkey bacon.
snack: a handful of almonds or other nut.
lunch: A large salad with lots of veggies and grilled chicken or turkey with my favorite dressing.
snack: a piece of sharp cheddar cheese
Dinner: Grilled fish with various seasonings, steamed asparagus with butter and a small salad or green beans.
late snack: If I am hungry, I will eat a little bit of cottage cheese or sugar free yogurt or a sugar free fudgepop.
As you can see, I do not go hungry. Stay on this eating plan for at least 2 weeks, longer if you have a lot of weight to dispose of if you have a stubborn metabolism. I also take a yerba matte capsule after breakfast and before lunch. This helps to speed up my metabolism and helps stop cravings. You can get that by going here yerba matte capsules
One thing that is important to remember is do not let yourself get too hungry.. Always keeps snacks on hand. If you make a mistake, then start over.. It is not hard and you will succeed!!! If you follow my plan you will shed the pounds forever!!!

Don't get discouraged!
Any time you are making a significant change in your life, there are going to be times of discouragements, set backs and just down times. If you fall off the wagon, just get back on. I know that many people put on a few pounds over the holidays and then get discouraged. Don't worry about it. Each day is a new day, each meal is a new meal. If you make a mistake at one meal, just eat right and healthy at the next one. Keep a food diary and find out what your weaknesses are. Make it point to distance yourself from the problem foods. Once you are on a healthy eating plan for 6 months to a year and you are shedding the unwanted pounds, you will find it easier to stick to the right plan. Keep in mind, you didn't put on the extra weight over night and you won't take it off that quick either. In a later post, I am going to make some suggestions to help you reach your goals. Have a fabulous, fun and fit day!

What Can I do to Change Permanently?
Here we are at the end of yet another year. Probably one of the biggest New Year's resolution's is to lose weight. I don't like to use that term as when something is lost, it is meant to be found. So, first and foremost, do not say, "lose weight". I prefer to say that I am disassociating with negative influences. I mean, we need to shed all the negative influences in our lives. So, let's think of how you can become a new person physically. First off, you need to start with your mental attitude.. Start invisioning yourself as a different person on the outside. Start seeing yourself as how you plan to be. Believe that you will become that person. How can I do that? You may ask yourself.. Cut out bodies of people you like in clothing styles and sizes that you like and paste a picture of your head on the body. That is a good way to visualize something.
Next, you will want to think of what foods are your stress foods? Is it sugary snacks, salty snacks, carbohydrate foods? We all have stress foods. What is your food that you have the problem with? Let's say that you have a problem with sugary foods.. Try replacing with some fruits, veggies with healthy dip and substitute the sugar with lower glycemic alternatives such as agave nectar.. This sweetner is double the sweetness of sugar, but it tastes like sugar in the food. Another good sweetener is xylitol. You can find both of these products online. Then you can use something to help your sugar craving diminish. The best product that I have found is Primorye http://www.4otg.com/sheatina You can read about it on that website. It comes in different forms. You have a once-a-day tonic and a use-as-needed concentrated dropper formula. It is also available in a natural energy drink. This does reduce cortisol which is responsible for that tummy fat and it is responsible for the stress hormone that causes people to crave sugar. Try it for yourself!!
I hope you have enjoyed this article for today. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks again, Sheatina

A Contest Under Way
It was shortly after I had begun my weightloss journey that Oxyfresh announced a weightloss contest. There was a $500 prize for each male and female in each age category. Since I had already been using the products, I decided to join for my age category. I tried to get my husband to commit, but he would not. He didn't want to give up pizza. :) By the time the contest was underway, I had already lost about 10 lbs and being 5 feet tall, that is a lot. I couldn't use my total before picture, but I did use another picture that I took the day the contest started. I have always loved contests as I do have a competitive spirit. So, I started. I was already sure that I could win the prize for my age category, but I really wanted to also win the grand prize of $1000. That would give me $1500 of extra money to spend. I do love shopping, so that is my contribution to the economy.
At first I didn't weigh myself at all for several weeks. Then, I would weigh every Friday. The Oxyfresh supplements that I took religiously were, yerba matte' capsules, liquid thermogenics ( at least 64 oz of water each day with the liquid thermogenics mixed in.) I also took the fiber cleanse.. I started with a 10 day total body cleanse and I continued to take it once a day. The digestive enzymes were a big part of my plan so I took them with every meal. I also took the Primorye Stress Relief supplement.. I swear by this stuff.. It is like a genie in a bottle!! I don't really care for shakes, so I didn't utilize this part of the plan. Next, I will share my eating plan. It is not a diet for sure, but a healthy eating plan. If you would like to learn more about the Oxyfresh weight loss products and plan, please go click here

Before I Even Knew What I Was Doing
Have you ever done anything and really didn't even realize that you were doing it? Maybe caught yourself staring at some stranger, but really didn't even know you were doing it. Have you ever been driving down the road and then just realized you didn't know where you were going or how you got to where you were at? Maybe you haven't done that, but I have.
That is kind of the way I gained so much weight. You know, I didn't even realize I was gaining the weight. My clothes got a little tighter, so I wore stretch pants.. (It is amazing how much those things can stretch!!!) I wore jogging pants most of the time or even my night shirt all day if I didn't have to go anywhere.. Now, tell the truth! Have you ever done that also? I never saw myself in pictures and have you ever realized that when we look in the mirror, we don't really see our size? In my mind I was still the size 6 I used to be.... Until that fateful day I got sick. Since I always take my vitamins and stress tonic, I rarely ever get sick... but I had come down with bronchitis. I tried to fight it off myself, but to no avail.. I had to go to the doctor. Now what is the first thing they do to you when they call you back? Yes, that is right.. the nurse weighs you! When she weighed me, I almost fell off the scales and right into the floor. I don't even remember what the doctor said to me that day or what prescriptions he gave to me! I could not get that number out of my head. That HUGE number on the scales. It was the biggest number that I had ever seen on scales. It was bigger than the most I had weighed even at 9 months pregnant and my youngest child was now 6 years old! Talk about shock! How had this happened to me? What had I been doing? What did others see when they look at me? How could I even look at myself the same when I know what the scales said? I was in utter disbelief and my heart actually ached. It was that fateful day, that I made up my mind to do something about this. I didn't tell anyone at the time. It was a secret that would tell itself when the pounds started falling off.

My Weight Loss Journey
Hello world. My name is Sheatina Sparks and I am starting this blog to document my weight loss journey. Actually, I am calling it disassociating with negative influences. Food can certainly be a negative influence in our lives just as people can be. Many people turn to negative food such as starches or fried foods in the same way that some people may turn to bad friends or substance abuse during times of stress. I know you have been there. I believe at some point we have all been at a point in our lives where we have turned to some kind of negative influence in certain situations. As I blog my journey, it is not about losing weight as much as it is about acquiring a healthy body and removing negative influences from my life. I hope you enjoy this journey and I hope that we can become good friends along the way.
